Funding for Thrift and Credit Cooperative Societies (TCCS) – Oddisuddan, Mullaitivu

Provide initial capital to TCCS, which would support 20 families in the Oddisuddan/Mullaitivu region to provide need based capital as a loan in developing and cultivating land owned/leased by these families. The families that receive the funding will be expected to pay back the money borrowed at the end of the harvest cycle which is expected to be about 4 months. The money returned will be re capitalized in the TCCS to be used to fund others in need in the designated region. The expected goal is to enable families to cultivate lands owned/leased by them and provide a means for income to support their livelihood.
