Appapillai Rajendra Memorial Fund

Mr. Appapillai Rajendra was born in Malaysia (June 16th 1936), lived in Mallakam Sri Lanka, Hillsborough NJ, and Harrisburg NC. He passed away peacefully on November 9th, 2022 in Harrisburg NC. A life long tamil activist, Mr. Rajendra actively campaigned for the human rights, development and the well being of the Tamil minority in Sri Lanka. His demise will be an immense loss to the Tamil American community.
Leading up to his funeral, In Lieu of flowers, Rajendra family suggested donations can be made to Ilankai Thamil Sangam. We have established this fund in memory and legacy of Mr. Appapillai Rajendra.
